NHS cheerleading rules
- Be on time to practice and games
- Come prepared, have: shorts, shirt, and shoes for practice & complete uniform for games
- No gum chewing at any time
- Games are for cheering, not socializing
- No flaunting while with team at any time
- Chatting, arguing, or practicing will not be tolerated on the sideline. You are there to be watching the game. You are responsible for knowing the cheers
- Cell phones are not permitted during practice or games.
- No jewelry is to be worn at any time
- Hair must be off the shoulders
- Respect will be known to coaches, and other team members at all times. Also "Nod To Know"
- Good sportsmanship is a must!
- On days of home games, you will wear what the team/coaches have decided on
- Do not relay messages through others.If you are to miss practice or another event for any reason, you must tell the coach yourself, or have a parent/guardian call
- Anyone without a current physical will not be allowed to practice, cheer at games, or compete until one is on file with the school
